• Poem of the Forsaken
I can't answer when you ask me, I can't laugh at every joke,
I can't smile when you smile, I can't eat it for I'll choke,
I can't tell you when you roder, and i cannot just begin,
For, though you may not know it, I have been forsaken.

My soul was banished long ago, my soul has turned to ash
From the fire of the deepest Hell, where I cannot look back.
It's been so long since I have had a normal state of mind,
And though I try to reach it, I only fall behind.

Take my mortal soul, I beg, for I find it useless now,
For all I've done within the years has burned it, made me proud.
I know my kind, my race, my strength--it makes me proud to see
That I am now a member of the Devil's calvary.
