You know, I really thought it was overflowing.
It got really big, that bubble, I thought it was going to shatter or explode something.
There would be fire and brimstone, you know?
I was almost disappointed.
I really thought it was overflowing!
I thought there would be some sort of explosion when the machine turned off
that huge lightning traveling between the two bulbs
but the lightning simply flickered and failed.
I really thought it was overflowing...
I thought the tower was going to crash and fall to the ground,
smashing everything in one direction...
Instead, that tower capitulated and fell directly down on itself.
You know, I really, really thought it was overflowing!
I poked a little hole in the bubble, yeah? And I thought there would be a pop!
The bubble deflated with a little stream of air.
I guess sometimes it really just isn't overflowing.

Description:
Sometimes...
Things just don't blow up the way you think they will, you know?
This poem is about when you feel a bunch of stress thinking about things that will happen in your life, then they happen and... Nothing. - Date: 06/27/2009

- Not gonna lie, it sounds like you're talking about an orgasm that just didn't cut it for you.
