-
The sky is crying,
shedding such glimmering tears.
And I am lying
by you, leaving my hidden fears.
The moon is blinding,
and the air is arctic.
The sight is binding
as my final moments tick.
As each grain
in my hourglass falls,
my hopes are being slain.
My heart eternally calls.
When you answered,
I felt I was not alone.
But I'd already been lured
into my deatbed carved in stone.
Unmercifully snaring me was Fate.
I wanted you to come,
but it seems you're too late.
I've turned so numb.
I've waited for you,
and you finally came.
Your touch is nothing against my skin.
Even as it is, you have not failed.
The sky reflects what's in us two.
My journey's left me maimed.
But i only care for my final whim.
What matters is that we have just
prevailed.

- Pathetic in my opinion. This sounds like every other poem I read.
