11:11
I remember
For the longest time
I would sit and stare at the clock
Waiting for the magic time to come
Ready to have those sixty seconds to wish for you
I would sit in silence.
Waiting
Tick
Waiting
Tock
Waiting and Waiting
For the perfect time
Twice a day
Everyday
For months
Upon months
Waiting
Tick
Waiting
Tock
Until the clock would show
That prized time
And I would finally get to make my wish.
I had given up hope
Until that day
When you said
That you wanted
To be more
My knees gave in
And I could not speak.
My whole body was shaking
From that moment
I would sit
And wait.
Waiting
Tick
Waiting
Tock
Still twice a day
Everyday
To make my newfound wish:
That you would never leave.
Now that you have left
I sit in silence
Once more
But not waiting
No
Never waiting
Silence
Tick
Silence
Tock
But not waiting.
Out of habit
I see that dreadful time
But no longer
Do I have a wish
You are not my enemy
No
You shall never be.
My only enemy
Is the glorified time
That makes everyone
Believe that
If you make a wish
It will come true.
But no
You are in no form
Of an enemy
I cannot hate you
Because if I hated you
I could not love you still

^_^ I like it!!!
The only wishes I ever made at 11:11 were for everything to work out ^_^ - Report As Spam

- Hmmm, interesting. Personally, I never make wishes just for myself at 11:11. They tend to back fire when I do. I know the circumstances vary from person to person, though.
