Naive little girl, decides to grow up.
To bad she didn't know this life would be so rough.
To bad she didn't know she would want everyday to be her last;
Covered in her helpless guilt, haunting from the past.
Hasn't cried in quite a while. Feels it would make her weak.
Didn't know that it wouldn't be a total winning streak.
At age 14 she wants to get free, from this hurtful life.
But someone helps her, lets her see, she DOESN'T need a knife.
Introduced to a church, thinking nothing could ever change;
NOTHING in the world could ever relieve her of that pain.
Then just one night with blood trickling down her wrist,
There was one word, she knew that she had missed.
Salvation was that word - it made all the pain away;
NOTHING in the world would ever happen again like that day.
God saved her from that sin, that guilt, her hurt, and lies.
With those words people have said, JESUS cut those ties.
Never again did she pick up a razor, gun, or knife.
For she knew that God had saved her an eternal life
