what I see in darkness
are our foolish selves
we look into the light
yet we only can repeat
to wish for light to come.
ourselves and our surroundings
the answers we know best
but for staying clueless as we are
we do everything we can
'cos it's really just too easy
just close your eyes, your ears, your heart
and there's nothing you have to fear
everyday you live like that
you don't have to care
and you don't have to help
your will to fight has died
and what is left that is us
the ones embraced by darkness
- Title: what I see in darkness
- Artist: Sherry90
- Description: it's about us. how we choose not to notice things like bullying or that others are suffering. we shut out anything that could bring trouble. but exactly because of this we also long for others to notice us. it's pretty contradicting, right?

Ah this poem... I don't really like the thought your showing here.
This thought is not true, it is only true for certain people who are lost in eternal darkness, those who do not seek the light. - Report As Spam
