I saw a feather drop from the sky

It was a white feather

So I know it can't be mine

A white feather signifies purity and hope

So I know it can't be mine

I pulled a feather from my pocket

A black feather stained with blood

This is my feather

A black feather signifies sadness and anger

This is my feather

The blood on this feather is not mine

But the blood of those I have shamed

This is definitely my feather

A black feather signifies lies and deceits

This is definitely my feather
