The white sand turns to black, changing the world inside out.
Storm clouds, grass into dust, dead trees, dry lakes, never ending darkness.
Revealing a truth, another side no one knows about. Small grains not of life, power no one should harnessed. I feel pushed aside as they don't respond, the weight of depression, the black sands. I sometimes wonder, what's going on. Left alone in the dark with empty hands cold as they bare the burden alone. I feel as if the world rejects you unto the black sands
They treat me different as a sin, must I atone?
Why do they do this I don’t understand, the black sands seem to only accept me for who I am. Understanding the concept of dark and light, they are driving me into the dark way of life.

I like this poem a lot^^
There's something that it holds to it, I'm not sure how to describe it, but it has a certain power to it. Very nice job!
