Sometimes out of nowhere
I hear you say my name.
It's been four months
since you've been gone.
Things just aren't the same.
I miss the talks we had.
I miss your gentle ways.
I'm trying hard to think of how
I'm going to fill my days.
I can't tell you how I'm doing.
I can't share my thoughts with you.
I can't even ask for your help
when I don't know what to do.
Grandma still cries allot, Mom.
I try to see her through.
But it doesn't matter what I say.
Because her only desire is you.
The grandkids miss you greatly.
They ask if you're with God.
I put on my best smile, Mom.
And give a gentle nod.
I hope this letter reaches your hands.
Because I need for you to know.
That you are possibly the most missed Mom.
But we realize you had to go.
I think what I wish most of all.
Is that I had more time with you.
To tell you how much you meant to me, Mom.
So I hope these words will do.
I will close this out now, Mom.
And send it on it's way.
Until I get to see you again.
I will miss you everyday.

That's a really great poem. I'm sure your Mom will enjoy it as well.
I actually wrote a poem for my Dad and stuck it on a helium balloon and let it go. Just so it could maybe go high enough for him to receive.
Again, great poem, it truly deserve five starts. I'm sorry about your Mom, may she rest in peace now that her battle is over. - Report As Spam
