Everywhere you go someone has it better than you,
And that just makes life unfair,
Your struggles undue,
And you forget,
As you wander off chasing the unseen,
That what you leave behind is more precious than any silly dream,
Imaginary gold,
No matter how real it seems,
Wont buy you love, a family, a thing
And no imaginary act, great or small,
will replace the hours, the minutes,
you left of your life thinking of ways to attain them all,
And you choke on your fantasies,
Wishing they were real,
Yet you've left the land of the living,
And forgotten how to feel.
But you return
Eventually you always do,
And find that the colors of the sky arent to your liking,
The ocean not as blue,
And you feel anger,
Welling up in your breast,
And your feet grow weary,
As if this is all soime trivial test.
