Curious, kill me, to keep me alive
Take me away to the home of my dreams
To a desolate street in the midst of the day
Aged by the people whom lived long ago.
Houses that rot from dirt and decay
Tiled floors white are stained with sin.
The schoolyard is blank after years of play
Footsteps that echo are only my own.
An ambience whispers so soft yet so loud
Wheels on the pavement
The cries of a child
Now spirits so dead
Been there for a while
Bliss and felicity
Inside his old reveries
Had given me faith
Through those wretched years
Parchments of silk
Now cinders of misery
Collecting the loess
Beside his deathbed
Yet warm in the cold
and new in the old.
Something still glitters
In what isn't gold.
Take me not, Curious, to a ballroom of glass
Where the ladies and gentlemen continue to dance
Vivacity roars, a lion in pride, but
Picturesque beauty seduces the weak.
So lovely, so lovely, the aureate masks
Enticed by the curtains softer than silk
Held so close, yet reticence killed
The hands that I held just couldn't be mine.
Give me hands calloused, relentlessly scarred.
For something be voiced for running that far?
Gilded hands shatter and refuse remain'd.
How revered the hands whom anguish bequeathed.
Grant me, O Curious:
A poet, no words.
For words left unsaid
Will conquer the earth.
So haunting a beauty that lacks what it seems...
Take me away to the home of my dreams.

- Title: Curious, Kill Me
- Artist: DarthPumpkin
- Description: This basically reiterates my view of this earth. I feel that true beauty and purity is in imperfection. "Curious" is the name of a being... a being forged from every living person's view of God. Therefore, he is an illusion, a fallacy.

- I love it! It's deep and sensual, you can feel dragged along with it like you're a part of it. It's great! You're a great writer!
