甘い過ぎる偽の桜も散りぬるか?
Amai sugiru nise no sakura mo chirinuru ka?
Do those sickly-sweet false cherry blossoms fall and fade too?
Note: There's a tree that looks just like a cherry blossom tree, but the petals are bright sweet pink. These petals seem to last longer.
俳句など、まったく要らない。紙の無駄。
Haiku nado, mattaku iranai. Kami no muda.
I have no need for things like haiku. A waste of paper.

- Really great poems you've written here. Is Japanese your native language? Regardless I really liked the complex imagery evoked in the Haiku.
