• Description: this is a poem that i wrote about a book called the assassins for my sophmore writing class. My teacher wanted to publish it in the schools student art book thing but i guess i forgot to submit it cuz i found it in my closet a few days ago, :P

Of all of his daughters, Jauna is loved most.
Of her beauty and knowledge Cesario constantly boasts.
But theres a single flaw that he hates with disgust.
A boyfriend of hers, who's hearts full of lust.
So he takes a gun point blank to his head.
And fires it once. Now her boyfriend is dead.
Six months later Cesario is taken to court.
For hopes that his life will be cut drastically short.
The final decision lays in Jauna's small hands.
The life of her father is what justice demands.
Times running out so what will she do?
Theres so much at stake and so much she could lose.
The moments arrived and judment days come.
So what is his fate when everythings done?
Cesarios dead and justice came through,
but if it were your choice what would you do?
