Hello?
Can anyone here me?
Of course not.
I'm "invisible."
No one really cares if I'm there or not.
So I take this knife,
My real best friend.
I slit my wrists,
And the blood pours.
Yet even then no one sees me.
No one hears my agonized scream.
So I cut even deeper.
And yet,
No one can see me at all.
Dripping with red tears,
I wash the blood that can be seen away,
And the sink turns a sickly crimson.
Women walk in and out,
Never seeing what I was doing,
Or my unnatural tears.
Ignorance is a reflex to anything we can't understand,
But also the blood that never washes away.
