Whispers
In the darkness of my mind
I hear countless whispers
Of an evil kind
They talk of the sins
Of all man kind
I cover my ears
Only to hear them
And their sneers
I scream to block them out
But the whispers
Grow to a shout
I open my eyes only to see
Impenetrable darkness
Enveloping me
Soon they become shapes
In my minds eye
No longer hiding behind capes
Of this darkness high
Streams of tears
Fall to the ground
All my fears
No longer bound
Beyond their ears
Now they are the only sound
I may hear
In this darkness bound

- Title: Whispers
- Artist: Hyper-Goth
- Description: This poem came about when one night I was sitting at my computer with all the lights out and heard someone call my name. Then, quite suddenly, the hair I had pulled over one shoulder flew back in a quick, cold breeze. Quite creepy, really.
