-
A blackened sky kneels high overhead,
Filling young hearts with a future of dread,
The warm Apollo's hands have been withering,
When they leave they send the creatures of the night slithering,
The night has come calmly and still, with not one sound,
While a quick flash of light swiftly covers the ground,
Luna is unveiled and dances with the stars out above,
Waning and grinning down enviously at tragic love,
Stars twinkle eerily, as if to giggle at distress,
Blackened emotions of the heart are winning at this chess,
Luminescent tears trickle heavy as a monsoon,
When realized at last, love is always lonely, like the moon.
