-
Out of everyone in the world,
I must live this life.
burying my agony deep inside,
Pretending to be a joyful person,
I am the only one that knows,
Who I truly am.
Full of pain, hate, and suffering,
Though not all of it shows.
To cover up the truth, I leave a silly, obnoxious image
Of myself protruding out.
Loved by few, yet hated by many,
I am still longing for a purpose.
Though none has yet arisen,
And I doubt one ever will,
There still is a chance.
Until then,
I carry on.

- Very thoughtful. I'm sure a great many teenagers will resonate with this. I like it, good job.

- I remember the day you showed my this poem very vagely...the last day's of 8th grade...sitting on the floor...watching that weird play....and you pulled out that paper. And I read it....And something in me struck to 'beat you' and make better poems. And all I did was make many poems about you! Ya....But...nice poem! ^-^ *applauds*
