• I've been lost for awhile now
    Running in many directions
    I seem to always start back where I started.

    It's like I'm blind
    Oblivious to see the light in front of me,
    I've been hiding in this dark and decrepit place,
    I hear voices calling my name they echo into my ears.

    I try to follow them as tears streak my face I yell
    "Help me" I whimper a little as I slam my hands over ears.
    "Where are you?" I whisper scared and cold,
    My body shivers as the cold, heartless, and black wind blows through me.
    "Save me" I say falling onto my knees

    I wonder where this light is as I walk endlessly...
    This darkness haunts me...Heart and soul..
    I place my clenched fist over my chest as I wonder why this misunderstanding place is my home.

    I run more trying to find the voices who call out to me
    I breathe heavily as I wipe tears from my face,
    "Where are you? Show me the light!" I scream running in every direction.
    This darkness is neverending it seems,
    I take another step and see more nothingness.

    Until a hand reaches out towards me
    I grab it, it cringes a little the warmth touches my cold palm.
    It pulls me up into a warm embrace,
    Although its dark around us
    I'm not who it is that has saved me.

    I don't know who he is,
    as he smiles down at me...
    "I love you"
    He whispers, the light starts to grow as he strokes my hair softly.
