Ferris wheels with blinking lights
Men on stilts unworldly sights
Pink cotton candy floating oceans
Wicked strange cloud nine love potions
Teenage girls with painted faces
Pin struck men in old shoelaces
Acrobatic monkey bands
Tattooed backs faces and hands
Men in wigs and corporate clowns
Mirror images all around
Can’t tell what is who and who is what
Forgetting all that I’ve been taught
Remember days when truth was found
Laying in pieces on the ground
When wisdom wasn’t the thing we fought
And freedom didn’t have to be bought
Haunted houses and business ladders
Giving up everything that matters
Feathered masks and wings of steel
Stone cold hands that I can’t feel
Empty hearts and tainted souls
Trying hard to leave get out and go
Trapped in eyes of blue and gold
I never knew reality could be so cold

- This is pretty good just that a couple of the stanzas dont fit in. At the beginning you talk about a carnival then abruptly switch over to talking about other things. But other than that its very well written
