• Hello, my name is maddie and now i am happy that I was saved from my accident. Believe it or not I used to snowboard. I havent gotten to anymore since i now live in florida but enough about now i want to tell you about what changed my life....

    When i was little the only thing i wanted to do was snowboard everything i was good at was in the snow. you know that buetiful white snow. Who wouldnt like it? But anyway I always wanted to snowboard. Well on my nineth christmas i got what i have always wanted a snowboard. I was so happy that the next morning i go and try it out. Well eventually it was a week or two later that i decided to go down this huge steep hill with rocks at the bottom. Well i was goin to jump of course. Well i go and i start goin down the hill and all of a sudden something goes wrong. Before i know it I am on the ground unconsious alone.

    My brother came looking for me and saw me laying on the ground bleeding. He ran to my parents my parents called 911 and before i knew it i was in an ambulance. I reached the hospital at that time i was rushed in on a stretcher. I get in and they exam me. They said i had a serious concussion and a broken arm a broken leg and my knee cap was split in half. If my brother wouldnt have saved me in about 30 more mins i wouldve been dead. But they had to put a metal plate in my head and put a metal plate in my knee and i had lost a lot of blood. I walk with a limp sometimes cause it hurts so bad.

    I recovered after 3 months. Unfortunately that accident made me think that for all those people who have diabetes and all that have it worse than me. Which is why i am donateing money to the hospital every year so that the people who cant walk or cant talk can have something.
