• During the 1st weekend of spring break, mandi, genna, chris, owen, and I had all gotten together and ride around the neighborhood. Well later on…something happened to me. Ya see, mandi and genna and I were hanging out in mandi's part of the neighborhood. He had his cousin over for easter, and so we all joined in playing a little basketball... one thing is for sure, genna is dangerous with that ball. Anyways it's getting later and the air is SEE YOUR BREATH COLD. And it had JUST stopped raining....so the front lawn was wet. I was laying on the grass watching the stars poke through the other clouds, and I chose to ignore the conversation going on behind me. Sometimes my friends talk about things that I don’t even wanna get into. Next thing I know.....is blank. I FELL ASLEEP ON FROZEN WET GRASS! AND I'M WET FROM THE WATER!
    AND EVERYTHING IS NUMB! I can't feel my feet, legs, hands, you name it I couldn't feel it. And I couldn't walk well, so mandi and genna help me up (no one knew I fell asleep) and throw me into HIS (his = owen) lap on the chair on the front porch. I was mad that they did that, and turned my head to apologize. But I was shaking and shivering, as I was shaking in his lap he put his arms around mine to warm me up. My whole body had an episode, and so they tried to take me across the street. I'm losing consciousness, and so mandi and owen take me up (princess style...that I didn't like so much, but they really didn’t have much of a choice). We head over there and I'm beating myself up about my stupidity, and mandi drops her side to open the door! I was about to fall! I grabbed his neck in time before I was in even more of a world of pain. I looked to my right and thought, aw crap….genna and the others are going to give me more trouble once this passes. As soon as I get inside (on the couch) they start piling blankets on blankets on blankets. I looked like a marshmallow o.0
    and he sits next to me and helps warm me up. When genna had to go, he got up and made me hot chocolate to warm me up. I drank it all (I love chocolate XD) and watched the others play guitar hero 2. They all played well. Minutes to an hour pass by and mandi's mom kicks the boys out. Before they leave his cousin says," Oh BTW, if your toes are blue or black they may have to be cut off!" My eyes widened and in a small voice limply exclaimed, “WHAT?” I was trembling with fear, and on his own volition he came back to comfort me about it. I couldn't believe that he'd want to do that for me. All I could do is listen to his points and nod my head at the right times, I also noticed that in the right light his eyes turned from hazel to green x3 lol mrs. baxley had him a few inches from the door and she totally kicked him out. I was allowed to spend the night and fell asleep safe and sound knowing how loved I am by my friends. I woke up to the lovely feeling of pins and needles the next morn -.-
    but the guys came back to check on me, and give me my cell.....it fell on the lawn. Mom wanted me back at 9 a.m. and I had to get back home. When I did, she and I chatted about (she came to the house while I was a human Popsicle) how she took the whole 'royal treatment' I was receiving. lol I laughed at when she said, " I could see what was going on there and I wasnt about to disturb your groove." The treatment didnt suck, but I wasnt manipulating the situation, I was more focused on getting warmer again. xD
