Floating deep into the vast nothing
In a small vessel fit for one person
In a trance by the glow of a galaxy far away
Thinking deep in the labyrinth of my mind
What is the point of life?
Why is there life?
Why is there Heaven?
Why is there Hell?
Living or not
What is the point of existence?
As I’m in this deep trance
I look out at the galaxy and the stars
I can see a comet far in the great beyond
What is the point of anything existing?
Why isn’t there just nothingness?
Questions about life and existence
Like a traffic jam on a busy highway
Just keep getting lost in the mind’s labyrinth
I start to wonder how life was created in the first place
If God had created life, then who created God
How is it that a non physical being can create the universe?
How is it that a non physical being can create all things physical?
Deeper into the labyrinth I go
Pondering about creation
Love, the strongest bond between two beings
Hate, a deep strong dislike for someone or something
Compassion, a strong sympathy for the suffering
Pain, discomfort of the body, mind, and soul
Carefree, the feeling of contentment with no care in the world
How were feelings created?
Were they created by the soul?
If so, what created the soul?
I start to think
Does everything have to be created?
Or was everything there to begin with?
I’m all alone pondering about life’s questions
Floating deep into the vast nothing

- Description: This poem is about life's questions. It all started out by a friend asking me to prove that God exists. I got to thinking about it, and eventualy I wrote this poem. The poem takes place deep into outer space to add more Imagery.
