With anticipation, they lie back on their creaking wooden seats. Couples hold hands, feeling how clammy and shaky each others are. A group of gossiping ladies walk in, arms chained together with smiles never more genuine. Others' feet are tapping. Some fidget their fingers against the handles of the smooth wooden seats. It finally begins. The intense, rich tints illuminate before their naive complexions. Like the indentations on one's fingers, each unique cloud is just like each unique fingerprint. The pink undertones from the sun's over passing reflection sinks into every passing cloud. Paradise pours from the immense screen and into the audience's perception. The crowd gazes with immense admiration. Nothing quite like it has ever grasped onto these people's attention. It was as if they were starved for attention and the film was graciously feeding them with awe. The first colored moving canvas ever seen by this crowd overwhelms them profoundly. In their minds, there is now no comparison between the provocative pigmentation of the film in front of them and the familiar dim gray and obsidian colored films from before.

- Title: Pouring Paradise
- Artist: karinazavalaa
- Description: this is my rendition of what it felt like for others to witness the first colored moving image. It's a short but very detailed piece. A sky is being portrayed in the beginning of the film. Enjoy.
