• “Wake up sleeping beauty.” Basin said as he pounded on my door. I slowly drug myself out of my bed to my door forgetting I am in my nightgown. I open the door and he hands me a list and smiles.
    “What is this thing?” I asked him as he smiles bigger.
    “You list of things to buy in town.” He replied as Claire walks in.
    “Hi Claire, and why do I have to go its your turn. “ I say as I grab a brush and start to brush my hair to its original position.
    “Nope, it’s your turn to return a favor Missy.” He said as he waved then walked out of the room. I changed my clothes then looked at my necklace and smiled feeling the warmth of my family. I throw on my shoes and am out the door locking it behind me before I head up deck to land. As I made my way to the captains quarters I heard a noise from the room. A giggle passed someone’s mouth then was followed by a name was called out softly. I evidently could put a name to the voice, it was no other then my sister-in-laws voice. Some not so nice toughts and unpleasent things flooded my mind as I started to gag. I dared not to look inside so I swiftly tried to leave. I turned around and ran into the first mate and a hug. His name is Demitri and I admit I have a huge crush on him. He then told me he was going with me to the town when we land.
    “Lets get going we are going to land soon.” I said as he walked ahead of me.
    “Land ahoy.” The watchman called when we got on deck. Demitri looked of to see a nice city lined with candles and girls in dresses and men in suites. I watched as the deck crew tied the boat to the dock then place the plank of wood as a path to land. Demitri helped me across it as I walked beside him to the market.
    “So what was in the room that freaked you out so much Missy?” He asked in his sweet voice.
    “Um, you do not want to know my friend.” I said as I walked into the market square ahead of him a step or two.
    “Then why did you almost throw up?”
    “Nothing ok?” I blushed “It was nothing.”
    “Ok whatever you say.” He said as he looked at the list over my shoulder and started to help me look for the stuff. We got all the stuff then went back to the ship and handed out all the stuff.
    “We are going to be here for 3 days to rest and gain our strength back.” The captain called from the hall and everyone cheered and then took off the ship. Basin and Claire headed to a hotel to get a room, so Demitri and I followed them there.
    “I need a room for one.” I said as Demitri played with his room key.
    “Here you go Ms, room 317 on floor three.” The manager said as he handed me a key. I walked to the stairs and walked up them as Demitri followed me.
    “We mush be lucky of something I mean we are next to each other again!” Demitri said as I laughed lightly.
    “Count yourself as blessed to be in my amidst.” I said jokingly as he laughed.
