• Kagome brushed her long, Ink brown hair, crackling as she brushed it. She smiled at herself in front of her mirror. She was taking the high school entrance exams today, and she felt like she could do it. She slipped on her middle school uniform for almost the last time, and padded down stairs in her socks, bumping her backpack down as she walked.

    She smiled at her mother as she sat down to breakfast, saying hello to her little brother sota and Grandpa. Her mother set the last dish on the table and sat down, and after praying, they began to eat. Grandpa put a damper on her happr mood when he said, "Kagome, today is the entrance exams right?
