• I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked amazing in my black ankle length dress. I accented it with a blood red corset and belt. My black was braided in a long braid down my back. The necklace showing my royalty looked amazing with onyx crescent with a ruby spider next to it. I walked into the banquet room. It was full of men, women, and children. I then walked over to my table where the goblin shaman and the vampire prince was. Nogratha had pasty green skin with filthy orange hair wearing a tattered dress. Vincent was elegant he had short pitch black hair ,while, wearing a black nobleman's shirt with a blood red vest over it. We where there to declare peace between my people and there's. "So Serenity has your landprospered over the years" Vincent said to me. He had an evil smile on his face when he said that. "Well we have had food go up and taxes go lower so yes we have" I said to him. Then all of the sudden the door bursted open and men jumped through the window. Then Vincent screamed "kill them all dont leave a single survivor." Then the vampire nights started slaying innocent people. The room was filled screaming people trying to run from the attackers. I stood up from my chair and started to back away. I put my hand over my mouth ,and a tear started to stream down my face. I blacked after something hit me on the head. I woke up a few hours later. The rugs where torn and the royal tapestry was burned and ripped. I got up and looked around for some suvivors. Dead bodies where all around the room. Thats when i heard coughing. I ran over to the third table a woman and a child managed to live. I turned around and about 20 other men, women, and children. A woman asked me "How could he do such a thing he took my little girl's life away from me. She bursted into tears as did I. "I don't know ,mam, I don't know I said to her." I walked out of the castle with the survivors. The city was burned to the ground. Smoke was everywhere from the buildings. I just couldn't believe such a thing could've been done to my people. We've never had a war within our time. I watched a little girl run into her house and find her family dead. I heard tears from the very few survivors. "Stop it you softies" a man yelled out. We turned around and the king Ganin of the elves and his son Lin was standing right there. The king was wearing chainmail amor that accented his muscles. Lin was wearing hunting clothes. "Sire what should we do then" I asked. "Isn't it simple go to war with the vampires" Ganin said. "I don't know how though" i admitted. Then out of nowhere Nogratha put a hand on my shoulder. "I'll help with this battle Serenity" she said.
