The lush grass brushed up against my bare feet, as I walked through the garden.
The faintest sound of music was ringing in my ears. I took a deep breath,
The air was clean, and warm. I exhaled slowly and observed my surroundings.
I curled my toes up against the dirt, and sighed. I would be traveling away from
this wonderful place very soon. I would miss the chatter of the sparrows the tranquility.
The garden. Everything. I felt something cold and hard under my feet, a rock maybe?
I reached down to grab it, whatever it was. I felt around for something I could get a firm grip on, and I could make out the edges of a latch. I pulled it, and out came a little box, with carvings embedded on the surface. I pulled on the latch tightly again, It wouldn’t open. I put the box on the ground, and ran inside to get a crow-bar. When I came back, the box was opened, just a crack. I dropped the crowbar. “Well that was strange” I muttered to myself. As I laid my hand on the box, things started un-hinging, and opening up, as If someone was taking it apart. I took a step back. “I hope this isn’t like in one of those movies, where the stupid thing explodes” I mumbled.
