• Chapter One and a Half:

    You always hear myths of people’s adventures during their lifetime. You hear epic tales of how they had slain a great monster that was terrorizing the town, or rescued the president from an assassination. In the end, the hero dies. But, they never tell you what happens to that character beyond the death. Their last few hours or minutes on earth are suspenseful and climatic, but has anyone ever thought that the real adventure is in the afterlife?

    Personally, I’d always imagined pearly gates and angels with harps and flutes. But, as it turns out, there is no Heaven. There is only another stage of life. Or, rather, Death.
