    "Jake's not here any more!" bellowed a distorted voice seeming to come from Jake.
    "then w-who is?" Melanie loved Jake and she didn't want something to take over his mind and body.
    "Your worst nightmare! a vampire!"
    "Vampires don't scare me. come on Jake i know you're playin' around now quit it before i leave." she said with a tiny catch in her voice. All her life she had known Jake and his jokes on Halloween. he always was looking for a way to scare her.
    "Are you sure you don't wanna stay for a snack? my little darling you smell so delicious and i will drink all your blood in a minute."
    "N-no you w-w-won't!"
    "If you try to run i catch you if you try to hide I'll find you. we vampires are very fast and have very good senses. don't fool yourself child because you will die all the same. Now or later. Choose."
