My finger touched the smooth, glass-like coating around the edge of a perfectly cylindrical bubble. It seemed, almost before I even touched it, the love child of air and soap popped. As it melted away, ever so quickly, drops of its remnants were splashed onto my nose, my cheek, and my shoulder, leaving dried soap-stains in irregular patterns.
