• I looked around the forest. " Hunter, I know your here, this isn't funny." I said out loud. Still, silence.

    I heard a twig snap and spun around. A little elf kid was standing there staring at me. She had long blond hair and these really pretty green eyes. the color I wanted.

    I smiled. " Hi, I'm a little lost, can you tell me where I am?" I asked.

    " Your Lady Hailey, Queen Safyra's daughter." The little girl said.

    I smiled again. " You must have the wrong Hailey because my mother is not a queen. Can you tell me where I am?" This girl is crazy.

    " No, no, Lady Hailey. Queen Safyra is what we call her because she found this forest for us. You are in the great Kithic forest." She said.

    " Thank you, do you know where the closest town is?" I asked.

    " Come with me Lady Hailey, my village can give you food and shelter." The little girl started running.

    I ran to catch up. It was really hard to keep up with her, she was SO fast. I swear to god, if this little girl was on the cross country team, she would be a legend.

    We soon ended up in a little village. we were still in the trees, because the village was up in the trees. I'm not joking, there was houses and everything in the giant branches of these huge trees. I almost laughed.

    We climbed one of the trees, and entered this house, where the little girl started yelling, " Mama! Lady Hailey is here!"

    " Lealla, The Lady Hailey?" A woman ran down the stairs. she looked exactly like Lealla, which i was guessing was the little girls name.

    The woman gasped. " Lady Hailey, it is an honor to meet you. I am Gezelle." She curtsied.

    I had no idea what to say. so I smiled and said, " Please Gezelle call me Hailey."

    " I will do anything you ask Lad- I mean Hailey." Gezelle said. " Come, we must announce your arrival. And you've come just in time, for Prince Seth is coming today as well."

    Prince Seth? Hunter had a brother? Wait, I might be in another kingdom, so he might not be Hunters brother. Thinking of Hunter made me want to cry. I didn't know where he was, or if he was alive.

    Gezelle led me to the middle of the little tree village and yelled, " Hailey has come! Queen Safyra's daughter has arrived!"

    Everyone ran to where we were, and started yelling with happiness. I couldn't say anything, so I just smiled, and blushed tomato red. I couldn't hide it either, because then everyone would know I was blushing.

    After awhile of talking to everyone and such, Gezelle came up to me. " Hailey, we must get you out of that filthy dress. I wish I thought of that before I said you were here." She dragged me to her house and found a dress that would fit me.

    It was midnight blue and soft as silk. I loved it before I put it on. When Gezelle and Lealla saw me they sighed.

    " Hailey you are look wonderful!" Lealla said.

    " I agree, you truly do look like a pretty winter snowfall." Gezelle said.

    I blushed again. " Thank you."

    I hung out with Lealla and Gezelle for awhile, I taught Lealla how to get her mother to say yes when ever Lealla asked for something, and we laughed when Gezelle got confused.

    Another elf ran in the house, and she said, " The prince has come! Hurry!"

    We all ran out of the house, and jumped to the forest floor, where everyone let us stand in the front, and we watched as he rode up on a white horse. I smiled. Prince Charming on his white horse. I laughed softly, making sure no one heard me.

    Seth had long black hair, and brown eyes. he looked nothing like Hunter, so I was wrong. Seth wasn't Hunters brother. But he heard me laugh, and looked at me questioningly.

    I shrugged and blushed. He smiled. Soon he got to us, and Gezelle stepped forward. " Welcome, Prince Seth, to our village. I would like to introduce you to Lady Hailey, Queen Safyra's daughter." She looked at me.

    " Frickin stupid elf." I muttered under my breath. No one heard me, But Seth did. He smiled again. I walked up quickly and curtsied.

    " Thank you Gezelle for welcoming me. And it is a pleasure to meet you Lady Hailey." He smiled at me.

    I smiled back. " It is a pleasure to meet you, Prince Seth." I said.

    Gezelle smiled at us both. She set this up, introducing me to him. But, sadly, I loved another prince.

    So, it went like any other Prince coming to a tree village. At least, I thought it would. but it didn't. Seth played with the little kids, helped everyone out, and he acted like he was part of the village, not a prince.

    And, as much as I protested, I was the one treated like royalty. The people didn't let me lift a finger. It got annoying.

    Chapter 10
    Soon it was night fall, And i snuck out of the little village. I put on my jeans and my T-Shirt that I was carrying around, and jumped down. I ran a little bit, and climbed another tree, far away from the village.

    I sat there and cried. I missed Hunter. It's been a whole day, but I knew something bad happened. He died. I knew it. That made me cry even more, and I didn't notice that someone was next to me.

    " Whats wrong?" Seth asked.

    I stopped crying and wiped the tears off my face. I looked at him. " I just miss someone." I said.

    " And who would this person be?" He asked.

    " Hunter." When I said his name tears silently fell down my face. I looked at the ground, not trusting myself to speak.

    he put his hand on top of mine. " I'm sorry." he said softly.

    " Why are you sorry? I should be the one thats sorry. I put him in all that frickin mess, and now he's probably dead. I should've been there. I should be dead. instead I'm here." I cried.

    He somehow knew what I was talking about. " He loved you. That is why your alive instead of him. He wouldn't speak of anything else but you."

    My heart broke. " He is dead." I looked at Seth. " How do you know any of this?"

    " He was my brother." Seth said.

    " You look nothing like brothers to me." I laughed.

    He laughed too. " That is true."

    We just sat there in silence for awhile, and I leaned my head against the tree. I slowly closed my eyes, and fell asleep.

    I was in the same place where I first met Hunter. He was standing there, looking like an angel.

    I smiled. He was back. I ran and hugged him. We both laughed.

    " Hailey, I have to leave." Hunter said quietly.

    There goes my happy moment. I looked at him. " What? You can't! You can't leave me! I need you!" I said. A tear escaped and slowly went down my face.

    He wiped it away. " I'll never be away from you. I promise."

    I had to let him go. I didn't want to, but i had to. " I love you." I said.

    He kissed me. " I love you too, Hails."

    He faded slowly, never looking away from me. And soon I was hugging air. I sat down on the grass and cried.

    I woke up in the same tree, and cried again. I didn't notice Seth was gone, I didn't notice the blanket that was on me. I soon stopped after awhile. I didn't want to get up just yet, so I sat in the tree. and thought. Hunter was dead. I just found that out. But, I cried to much to cry again. He was happy, where ever he was.

    So I shouldn't be crying in the first place. I miss him, yes, and I was happy for him, because he was happy. But still, I hated him. Because he wasn't there.

    I had to leave here before anyone noticed I was gone. I jumped from the tree, and the blanket fell. I didn't even see it.

    And, I didn't see Seth sleeping at the base of the tree until i looked at my feet.

    I put the blanket on him and started walking away. I was far away from the tree when Seth came up.

    " Well, Hello Sleeping Beauty. Did you wake up from your 100 years of sleep?" He asked.

    I laughed. " Yes I did, were you the one who woke me up?"

    " Sadly, no. Although I wish I did." He said.

    I laughed. " I thought you were sleeping."

    " I woke up when you jumped from the tree. I just didn't get up." He said.

    " Oh." Thankfully we were at the tree village. " I have to get out these so no one will think I'm from another world. So, I will see you later." I ran up to Gezelles house, got into a dress, and fell asleep. again.
