Poor is the duckling who has been banished, mocked by his own kind. Poor is the duckling for his looks, fortunately time was merciful and transformed it into the beautiful swan, loved, admired, almost worshiped.
But what was the problem with the duckling?
Haven't the ruffled and inflated feathers, the curvy and flat beak, the choked and rough voice the same right to be called pretty as the perfection and elegance of the swan?
I love you, duckling, because I think perfection is the most perfect when you find it in the imperfect beings.
The two of us shall walk together throughout this world, duckling, clumsy and quacking, being ducks forever, and one day as ducks we will be more loved than swans.
