Once apon a time....
No, strike that. My life is definitily not a bed time story for little children.
Dear diary...
That's even worse. If i start off like that, you'll all expect me to talk about how bad my life is in the form of a stereotyped teenaged girl's diary entry.
My story starts off in a different way then most, instead of taking you through all the boring crap in my life, I will give you the major points straight off.
My name is Julia Carinto. I live in New York city, and yes, I go to an all girl's school. Boring huh?
My life has always been the same. Everyday, I wake up late, grab all my stuff, and sprint out the door without speaking to my prehistoric parents. Like always, I meet my kooky friend Elaine at the gate outside of my house.
(Yeah...we have an actual house in New York city. )
Elaine, the sweet girl I met in the fourth grade, is obssesed with medicine like her parents. On the first day of fifth grade when we were asked what we wanted to be, she said "General surgeon, because nurses are boring." Always packing bandaids for my clumsy ways, she basicly takes care of me. Without her, I would be like a lost child in a store.
"Jesus, Julia. Did you eat anything this morning? Today is the exam and I still think that taking it on an empty stomach is going to kill your chances of thinking straight."
"Chill, Elaine. I drank some orange juice on the way down," I lied. Lying comes so easy to me, that it should be a sin.
She mumbles in a voice she doesn't think i can hear, "That's not a full balanced breakfast."
Ignoring her comment, I keep walking like nothing happened. When we reach the doors of the church designed catholic school, I stop.
Standing right in front of the doors, like she owned the place (which she does sadly), Rosella Smith primmed her platinum blonde locks and gave me a sneer. If it wasn't for her supermodel looks and her stupid freakishly rich parents, I would sock the girl in her face. Surrounding her, two clones of her stood. Mary Stanley and Paris Smallwood kissed the ground she walked on, wearing the same designer lipgloss she wore, flipping their also blonde lockes in the same retarded move.
"Look who it is, Ladies. Julia Car-rento and Dr. Freak-laine," Rosella snorted between gum bubble pops.
Mary and Paris snickered at the obviously lame joke.
"Don't you have anything else to do? Like driving your pink convertable, blasting your theme song, and finding a new Ken look a-like?"
This shut her up for a moment.
"What ever." She waves her hand, walking away while the others follow her like the lackies they are.
Turning back to Elaine who was quiet during the comments, I continue our conversation.
"Today is going to suck"
