• Once Apon A Time
    there was a little elf
    she wanted to eat a cookie
    really bad
    but when she went to get one out of the jar,
    people said they were gone,
    but she could see cookies in the jar
    she didn't know if she wanted to wait for the people to move so she could look in the jar
    or if she wanted to just eat a pickle
    if she ate a pickle
    then she wouldn't be hungry any more
    but she wouldn't be satisfied until she got that cookie
    if she waited for the people to move
    then she would either find cookies in the jar, like she thought there was,
    or she would find out that the people were right
    alas
    no cookies
    and it would be to late for a pickle
    she sat around and thought for a while
    she decided to wait for the people to be gone
    she waited for a long time
    and when they finally did
    the jar WAS full of cookies
    she ate them and was happy
    happier than she would have been with a pickle
    even when the cookies were gone
    she still got what she wanted
