    Chapter 1
    B.C. – A.D.

    Earth, the planet of the humans. These humans are creatures that have attracted many, including a god.
    The god became fond of humans. He gave them what they needed, what they wanted, and what they treasured. He taught them many things, without exposing himself to them. But it never seemed enough for the humans.
    You see, these humans weren’t always nice; they acted nice when they wanted to, but sometimes, their hearts become possessed by darkness. These acts happened to them because of one emotion, an emotion each one of them are born with, Love. Love can make a human’s heart turn into pure gold. But, it can also reverse, to create hatred and harm inside one’s own soul.
    For the past centuries, humans have become more devoted to the dark side of their heart, and have turned their back to the God that has once taught them everything they now know. They’ve made up gods of their own, serving it and believing it. In doing so, this made the God very angry. He caused harm to the people, erupted volcanoes that destroyed cities, collapsed buildings, and flooded villages. He has done this many times now, but another emotion that humans are born with is Stubbornness.
    Living with that emotion has caused them to be ignorant. It left the God only one choice, to send his helpers down to Earth. Now, up where he lives, hidden in the clouds, up in a world that humans call “heaven,” magnificent, immortal creatures with wings soar and help the God. For hundreds of years, they’ve looked over the humans with Him.
    One day, when the world was almost as dark as ever, the God called in ten of his most trusted servants, five females and five males, and ordered them to live in Earth with the humans. They’re mission is to turn as many human hearts into pure gold, like their own hearts. They must live with them, help them, and love them, too. Doing so, they must repeat this process every hundred of years, depending on how long each human could live for.
    God has begun this process early in the year 13th hundred, and has been continuing since. Now, the present year is 2009.
    Our story begins with an ordinary girl, ordinary on the outside but extraordinary on the inside. Her heart has been broken and scraped by Love, a couple of times now, and has grown into the hands of hatred. She has almost given up on finding love, herself. This caused the God to select her. He informed one of his helpers to live with her, comfort her, and help her regain the human emotion, Love. And that, is where our story begins.
