• Lillian put on a short blue, frilly dress with brightly colored flowers covering nearly every ounce of her body.
    As she walked down her hallway, she sniffed in the beautiful fragrance of all the lopsided roses and lavenders that kept on growing in all her vases. It overpowered every other smell in her house, including her burning herbs on the stove, or Rose's shaggy sweat after running all day outside on all four legs. But Lillian didn't mind; she loved flowers, alot. So much, that all her spare space outside was covered in flowers and healthy fruit, except her little path which ran down to the small gate.
    The postman riding by wolf-whistled at her, and she blushed.
    Careful not to kneel on her vegetable patch, she sat down an inch away and leaned forward to pick some tomatoes for a breakfast snack.
    Suddenly, a shiny thing caught her eye; it was small, and bright, so beautiful she could not take her eyes off it. It flew side to side, turning in wonderful twirls. Lillian continued to stare at it, finding she could not look away. A second passed and she realised it seemed to be singing:

    Imlefrite, imlefrite,
    Maadmea, maadmea,
    Ta Ta Ta, booooo...

    It went on and on in this senseless language she couldn't understand! As much as Lillian tried to look away, she could not, and she realized she was crying.
    What is happening to me? She thought, staring at the fairy.
    And then it happened:
    Everything went black; and the images came. First, there were pictures of her smiling, happy. Then, there was a knife; it shone out of the darkness and in may ways, she wanted to go near that knife, because all she wanted to see was the light again. It changed yet again: there was a picture of a woman... her aunty. She was sobbing, lying on the floor. And then there was her again, smiling happily. What did it mean? What did she have to do?
    Light! The scenery came back, Lillian kneeling by the veggie patch, the sun shining brightly. She gasped, clutching her chest.
    Thank god im back!
