First off, Well done.
Second, though well composed, if that is the image from your view finder, you should have stepped back a bit and got in her whole hand, or if you didn't want to step back, the hand should have been moved so not to be cut off. Very rarely is it appealing to see someones hand cut off.
Third, it may just be my computer scene, but it looks as if the focus is on her chest, and not on her eyes. In a portrait like this, the focus should always be on the eyes.
