- Title: Lurking Tulips
- Artist: Glorified_Iolaus
- Description: This was taken early on last year when all the flowers were blooming at my parents home. Also, I am only an amateur photographer. If anyone has any tips/hints/advice to help me improve, please post away! :D

- I actually followed a tutorial to make a digital picture look like a particular type of film photo (which is what I did with this one), but I cannot remember the name of it and the bookmarked page is on my old - dead - comp. Must hunt through the Deviant Art tutorials pages soon.

- Yeah, while photoshop can make the picture really pop... it is really easy to make it look fake. I think you used the right amount of editing. smile

- Yeah, I was laying (on my stomach) on the ground. And the grass stuff in the bottom right corner was actually the leaves of other tulips so nothing could have been done about it. As for the camera, the one I use now is a Fuji Film FinePix A825 - using PhotoShop or Gimp really help, though, to clean/spruce up a shot. Always got to be careful not to overdo it, though. rofl

I like the simplicity of this shot. Great angle! Did you get down on the ground or did you just set your camera up on something?
The only thing that is kind of off is how there is grass stuff to the bottom right of the picture and not anywhere else. Nothing you can do about it now, but just saying that it kind of knocks off the balance for me. Still a WONDERFUL shot. biggrin
What camera did you use? -is looking for a new one herself-
My thoughts on this: Keep traveling the path of the photographer! - Report As Spam
