It makes me think there is no hope left in the picture. Which in my mind is a very hard thing to convey in most drawings.

Looks sad and depressing. The sun is supposed to be bright and shiny, but you removed the most important part of it. The color. So, I think your picture gave me a depressed, mad, maybe frustrated feeling.
