- Thanks. What lines would orient the viewer to know she was lying down? These were my first ever life drawing pieces. I snuck into the class today and sat in the corner... The professor didn't mind too much. I'm glad it's good for my first piece!

- Same thing here. If you'd just take away the outline, it would be much more rounded. The outline really flattens the figure. And I don't believe that she's lying down, because there's no lines to orient the viewer. Keep drawing! I love what I'm starting to see! biggrin And don't be afraid of the face. wink
