- Title: Study for Don't Fall Asleep
- Artist: Reenason
-
Description:
This is the first study I made for a major body of work I completed at school. The subject was inspired by a nightmare I had when I was a child, and repeats often in my final artwork.
Note: I had this study hanging in my studio for the entire semester. Hence, the thumbtack. Blame my poor photography skills. - Date: 12/19/2008

- I don't really see why the line work can't be messy, i mean, it's a painting. Line work shouldn't be all so necessary. Anyway, i do like your painting and i think it's cool that you'd pluck it from a childhood nightmare, not as concept you see everyday. Very nicely done!

Perfect amount of weird. Line work is messy... But the that helps the painting. After all, it is a nightmare. The less vivid the better.

You had a nightmare about a black guy on crack hiding in the dark corner of your room? hehe
I really like this picture and the meaning behind it is VERY interesting! (seriously)
