Well I'm not too good at painting people but I gave it a shot with a self portrait...of myself (heheh). Unfortunately, it doesn't really look like me too much and the picture didn't turn out that well either (in my opinion). I might be trying more later on but who knows? xD Anyway, please share your thoughts! I absolutely LOOOOVE comments. =]

- The hair is nice, but try to keep the face not as round.

- The hair looks really nice and you've got some good ideas going with your color palette. Just keep practicing and try simplifying your facial features into like, orbs or blocks or whatever to simplify them. It'll make shading easier and give a stronger structure. Also, stay away from the smudge tool sometimes. If you want a smoother appeal, try painting in a soft brush that has a low opacity and fill and just keep going in layers.

- you need work on the face but you are excellent on the painting part... i agree the chin must become smaller... possiabley the lips too. The Colors are out of this world great job on that! ^^
