- Title: The Artist as a Comic
- Artist: tortishell

Description:
Self-portrait in my crappy 5-minute comic style. Short, dweeby, befreckled, looking like a skinny boy from the waist up and a fat girl from the waist down. Really, though, I'm a girl. Who says the protagonist has to be cute? xP
sorry it's not more manga-y, I read too many American comics. >_>" - Date: 01/27/2009

- who cares if its not manga. I draw manga alot then one day I woke up and thought "i'm going to draw american style cartoons now!" I really like your style and i'm glad that you didn't draw your self as half cat or anything like most people

- I like the style and how it's not trying to be that unrealistic kind of 'pretty'. You might want to add shadowing, but overall I really like it^w^ good job

- PSSHH, I like when artists are honest about their appearance; not making themselves huge boobed and super, inhumanly 'pretty' and appealing. Not mary-sues, I mean. Love the simplistic design, definitely like your style. ~
