To tell you the truth, this is one of two watercolor paintings I've done since 2005. I used to play around a lot with salts and plastic wrap before then (I tend to use them more for rocks though), but I lost all of my equipment in hurricane katrina and never really have had the living space or money to have a proper studio since. If you look closely, you'll see that this entire painting was made using just two colors of paint (since they're so expensive)!
